REPORT OF SCIENCE CLUB
Activities during the session from July 22 TO March 23
1. Essay writing competition- Essay writing competition is an art that brings out students writing skill Through this competition student pen down their knowledge and perception about environment and global warming. Students of classes 9th and 10th participated in this competition. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
2. Quiz competition- Through this competition students enhanced their knowledge about science and technology and renewable energy. Students think from diverse perspectives in this quiz competition. Students of classes 9th and 10th participated in this competition. Prizes were distributed to the students.
3. Poster making competition- To raise the issue of conservation of water, a poster making competition was organised. This competition was organised with the purpose to spread awareness among the students on scarcity of water and various methods to save the water. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
4. Awareness rally – To aware the community about the pollution caused by burning crackers and the health problems raised due to the pollution by the crackers an awareness rally is organised. Students of classes 9th participated in the rally.
5. Rangoli making competition- Students shared their knowledge about different topics of science through art integrated activity. Students show their creative skills through this competition. Prizes were distributed to the students.
6. Model making competition – To increase the knowledge and importance of Science and technology and renewable energy in our daily life, a model making competition was organised. Through this competition student enhanced their creativity by making different types of models on science and technology and renewable energy. Prizes were distributed to the winner.
7. Debate competition- The aim of debate competition was to give students a creative platform to express what they feel about science and technology and renewable energy. Each student presented their views with lots of confidence and clarity of thoughts. It also helped in enhancing their critical thinking about science and technology. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
8. Slogan writing competition. Through this slogan writing competition students bring their creativity on paper. Slogan writing competition about the importance of trees was organised. Students shared their knowledge about the importance of trees and environment. Prizes were distributed winners.
